We had to get something from Queenstown today before lock down tonight. The place was great, no one was allowed in, but the phone order was ready and goods given out via their front door.

On the way home we had a walk at Lake Hayes- very few people around, so it was easy to keep distant from people.

Jacinda Ardern, our Prime Minister, declared a State of Emergency this afternoon. They have put a lot of measures in place to support people and businesses financially- however, it will still be very tough on people.

People with the virus are small in number, but we are learning from other countries, and fortunately taking decisive action to reduce the potential deaths in NZ.
