Sisters.

In these uncertain times, their Dad has just started a new job.  It's in NSW, and they've just closed the border.

Luckily, he has an exemption, so there wont be any problem travelling backwards and forwards.

Meanwhile, their Mum has been told that she wont be allowed to access any of her holiday or long service pay.  The company just can't afford it for all their staff.  She hasn't been laid off yet, but it's only a matter of time.

Tough times ahead, but we'll manage, after all we're all in it together.

The girls are in their own little world.  We played schools, did puzzles, looked at books, guessed the alphabet letters.

Ate lots of food, went for a walk (saw no-one), played in the pool and then with play doh.  Sat in the cubby and chased the monsters away, who were pink with yellow spots!

Strangely it was quite peaceful, no traffic, quiet neighbours, you could almost forget the goings on outside.

That's the joy of children, they take you into their world and you can forget what is going on in the scary adult world.

Yesterday when I was in Coles supermarket, a man walked past me, and nearly bumped into me, wearing a full on gas mask.

I'm glad the girls weren't with me, probably would've scared the life out of them.
