Local Walking
Our second day of walking local this weekend. We did an improvised version of a walk my other half created last year. This involved walking along sections of the Trent and Mersey Canal, which took us past the Wedgwood Factory. We walked over Downs Bank near Barlaston, which is owned by the National Trust. We did have to cross a dual carriageway just outside Stone, but that wasn't very busy due to current travel restrictions.
The last leg included a walk over Tittensor Chase back to the car. A lovely 4 hour walk with very few human contact. To be fair that would be a perfect walk for us in normal circumstances. We prefer quieter walks. The other secret is to get out early.
