Yesterday

A folding clothes brush. Half of the cover sldes off and slides in at the bottom, erecting the bristles.
These were given away as publicity gifts at the 1947 British Industries Fair at Castle Bromwich. As it was deemed "Educational", I was allowed a day off from school to go with my father.
As a brush it's surprisingly good, even more surprising is the fact that it's made from a sort of thin hard plastic which is showing no signs of disintergrating.
