Gardening Woes.
I have started serious work in the "policies" and working in the garden.
First task was to position the Rabbits and Fox Sculptures in the garden and this is today’s Blipfoto. The rabbits are in good condition however the Fox appear to have an extra ear.
The powder paint coating has started to peel. Oops.
Second task, is cutting back brambles, which goes very well.
Third task is to power up the "lawn" mower and start mowing the many species in the green area masquerading as grass.
The electric mower goes for about twenty metres and stops. After several minutes checking the obvious possibilities I suspect that this is indeed a terminal stop, but will not be able to get repaired for at least 12 weeks, and is it worth it?
I have ordered a new electric mower from Amazon and it should be here on Monday.
I continue with more gardening cutting tasks. Again we are socialising at a distance using FaceTime and other similar apps.
Everyone we contact appear to be in good spirits; well some are having cocktails and practising strict social distancing.
Looking through the gates to the outside world shows that traffic has dropped off and any buses that are passing are now empty.
Today is the day we should have attended the Pre-Season meeting at Hill of Tarvit. That is now something to look forward to at an unknown date.
Another cocktail calls. I hear the tinkle of ice-cubes.
