Arch rivals.

I took the old bridge (main) from the 'new' bridge (first extra.) I wouldn't normally have tried, but the recent quieter roads made it worth a go.
The old bridge was built in the 1580's and replaced an earlier wooden one. It is chiefly known for its different sized arches. Modern architects for the newer bridge did not try to emulate this feature. 
I was hoping the navel gazing egret (second extra) would come inshore a bit to display its yellow feet but unfortunately it just flew off.
