Robin
I came back from the dog walk at the crack of dawn with very similar photos to most other mornings when i noticed this little guy perched in a tree above me on our drive.
Barley has worked out that if he runs full tilt through the field in every direction he might just frighten a pheasant, which is enough for him to continue doing it the whole time. So far he has frightened 2 in the last 4 days which i guess is pretty good odds and so he will continue. It does mean he is completely exhausted for the rest of the day.
Braved an early morning Tesco shop, shelves where pretty well stocked, still no flour - how can everyone suddenly have become a baker? its very frustrating. the queuing system has changed and sensible and all the check out staff seemed to be early 20's.
Following Q's letter yesterday he received a wonderful note back from our neighbours today which made his day. The kids also put up rainbows in the windows (so other children can count them on their walks) which is a wonderful idea - we counted 8 i think when we popped around the block.
Another beautiful day in terms of weather - its strange working from home - every day feels like an odd weekend day.
