Stand-off

Spotted two pheasants in a “stand-off” in the garden this morning.
 
 
Virus update: this came alarmingly close to home this afternoon when I learnt while out walking that a family in the next road were being tested for it having returned recently from a skiing holiday in Italy.
 
“Social distancing” – found this impossible on several occasions while out walking because this normally very quiet country road had an unusual number of walkers, many in pairs and there was no way we could pass each other six feet apart, short of jumping into the hedge.
