Longest School Day Ever

Very weird day. Started positive, enjoyed a little lay in, sun was shining, nice drive to work, but... I just couldn’t get in the right headspace for ‘teaching’ my little gang of 3, and felt rather detached all day. Mind you, they still had a ball, claiming it to be the best day ever. I guess they don’t often get that level of attention, even from a slightly distant teacher, poor wee mites.
After school C, H and I did a shop for G&G and dropped the birthday girl’s present off. So strange having to keep ‘social distance’ from close family.
