Sheepfold

The gorgeous weather continues giving us the opportunity to get away from news broadcasts for a while.  Today I took my exercise walking up onto Hampsfell behind our house.  It was warm and very calm giving me an opportunity to listen to the bird song and the drumming of distant woodpeckers.  I returned using a path I have walked several times before but, for the first time, I noticed the remnants of this old sheep fold near to the path.  Perhaps it was overgrown last time I passed by but I am surprised that I hadn't noticed it before.
