Brenda or Bobby?

Those are the names I have given the starling pair that I watch from my front garden. No idea which is which at the moment...another pair seem to have started to nest in next doors roof - just outside my bedroom window. Watch this space! 

I went to work today and I found it difficult as really, I didn't do much but be outside sorting games and so on. We didn't have that many children in today and they were great but not really wanting to do any sort of set activity. So we didn't do any, just enjoyed chatting and being outside in the warm sunshine. 

I found it difficult because it was my first day in this closure period and the contrast to last week was only too stark. We have a temperature zapper that is done 3 times a day and hand washing galore.

After staying home since Monday I thought I'd go to the local Coop on the way home. The car park was pretty quiet and apart from staff, there were maybe 10 - 15 people in the store. It seemed quite a lot though and the 2m distance was difficult to achieve. There were markers on the floor but nobody making people stick to them. I went to the counter till as there was no queue, then all of a sudden a few people queued behind me (keeping their distance) so they opened up the till right next to me. Way too close in my book so I don't think I will go there agin unless things change. Apparently our local Lidl was being very stringent  with handwash, distance and how many were in store. Think that will be my next shop - but not for quite a while.
