The Harlingen Harbor Crane (Nicknames: Blauwe Kop, the Spin and Lange Willem) is a former harbor crane that serves as a hotel room in the harbor of Harlingen. The crane was in use until 1996 to unload timber loads from Russia and Scandinavia.

History
The port top crane of the Figee brand was built in 1967. The cabin is located approximately seventeen meters above the quay; the boom reaches up to 45 meters. The harbor crane was transferred in 2001 to the current owner who had completed the redesignation after almost two years; a double overnight stay.

The crane ladders have been replaced by two lifts. The room in the tap has a volume of 60 cubic meters and has a bed, seats designed by Charles Eames and a double shower. There is a roof terrace surrounded by a solid railing.

The crane is still rotatable. At the start of their stay, guests can turn the tap 360 ° and then choose which view they want.
