A Present? For me?

Well actually yes! Although even Casper is checking to see if noone is looking so he can have a sneaky peak.

I got home from work today to find this little gem on my doorstep. My dear friend has been super organised and has sent this present to me for my birthday with a note to "enjoy" it. Now I just want to open it although my birthday is not for just under two weeks now. Exciting stuff. I do like coming home to parcels and presents on the doorstep - much nicer than bills and stuff!

Work was good today and we had some after work drinks which was fun. As we sat around chatting - especially after a couple of rounds I realised (and bear in mind being a driver I was not actually drinking alchohol at this point....) that I work with a great bunch of people. The people in my team are really lovely people, great senses of humour.

I did learn however a good reason to never kiss the Blarney Stone in Cork should I ever go but that would be another story....

Steve is now at the airport and on his way home - expected to arrive at a very early hour (7am - well early for a Saturday) tomorrow morning.

And I think the final note for today's entry is to wish everyone Happy Burn's day - think I need to "Scottish" up my facebook wall for the weekend now!
