Early Sun

Nature is still carrying on in all its glory and I have a woodland bed in my garden which is looking lovely with quite a variety of plants and flowers.  However, it's very difficult to photograph because whatever time of the day one pops out with the camera, at least half of it is always in shade.  So, I took advantage of the early sun this morning which was just illuminating the cowslips and pulmonaria.
I did have a bit of a shock though when unbeknown to me Ziggy had crept up and suddenly the end of my long lens was full of his nose and cat-whiskers, I'm not sure which of us jumped the most!
