Thank you to ALL key workers

On my way home after my daily 6 mile walk I passed this house.  I certainly did not forget to smile.

I listened for the first time to Pearl Jam's album Ten, which has eleven songs. The album was named after the shirt number of former basketball star Mookie Blaylock. My favourite track was Alive.

Another first for me was to see a copy of and read about a little-seen painting by Hieronymous Bosch - "The Conjurer" (1475.) It is different to Bosch's well-known wild, diabolical scenes.  It shows a conjurer performing a trick to a small crowd whilst a priest steels a purse from one of the onlookers.This was a thinly-veiled attack on the Burgundian Empire and the Dominican order, responsible for the Inquisition.  The painting is now owned by a small municipality near Paris and is rarely shown in public.
