Today’s bake

So this morning I picked up my Game of Scones recipe book and opened it. It opened at Maple and Walnut Scones so that is what I made. Just in time for a WhatsApp video coffee and scone chat with my friend Marion. She had made sultana scones!
All this technology is a boon at the moment - Pilates class on Zoom, coffee and wine with friends over Messenger and WhatsApp, not to mention numerous calls and chats with Iain and Katie. Katie has even set us up with a app so we can all play games together. I think my social life has actually improved! :)
