Flower Friday
Hesperantha coccinea.
My mum grew them in Cornwall, and called them Kaffir Lilly. as they are native to South Africa.
I have had some in a pot for a few years.
They flower September to November, but my pot has started flowering again.
Another glorious day, but much cooler.
Still spent time in the garden.

Mr C fancied Heinz Beanz but there weren’t any. Something we can do without.
Great to learn that everyone has started baking, but the flour producers are working round the clock to keep up with demand.
How eating habits have changed.
Our friends in South Africa are now in lockdown.
They can’t take their dog for a walk, and are not allowed to buy alcohol or cigarettes. Not regarded as essentials.
Not sure how that would work here.
8pm last night was an emotional moment as we could hear people clapping and cheering for the NHS.
So take care, stay safe, and keep smiling.
