Lockdown - Day 7

The first tulip to flower in the garden.

More blue skies today but cooler yet again with a cold wind, though it did dry the washing quickly! A day taken up with sorting problems caused by being locked down. The hearing aid batteries mission is hopefully finally sorted (a long story, but in short a real palaver!), and now that dad has been identified by the NHS/government as being “extremely vulnerable” on medical grounds, hopefully it’ll be easier to get the help he needs.

So as of today, Friday is to be known as Cocktail Friday! I’m trying to find something pleasurable to mark each day, in order to survive and stay sane over the coming weeks/months. On this evening’s cocktail menu are Singapore Slings, Cosmopolitans, and Rusty Nails!
