Cooriedog Walk - not quite
I wasn't looking forward to recording the next stage of the Cooridog walk. the damp and the mist came to my rescue. However, on the latter stage of our walk, the wild geese were descending in great numbers for a little grazing - they are often part of our walk but seldom anywhere close. So I went home, fetched the camera and returned for some shots. It put me in mind of Mary Oliver's poem 'Wild Geese' and the final section
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting -
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.
I'll try and resume the blip Cooriedog Walk tomorrow but I don't thnik it will be as interesting as this.
