It is Museum Night tonight, meaning that the museums are free and open until 0100 in the morning.  Apparently, this is a once a year phenomenon.  I will confess that we didn't really  know about it in advance so didn't indulge but, given all the queues outside the museums, it probably made sense not to.

We did, however, venture out for a drinks and dinner, although I have to say that it was perishingly, ear-snappingly, cold tonight!  Mental note to self: check temperatures before deciding whether to go out or not.
