Pile on!!!

Ben went out to work at 6.15 this morning, Chloe woke up almost as soon as he left. We waited in bed for a while then when Thomas got up we went downstairs for breakfast. After, me and Chloe had a shower and we all got dressed ready for the day.
First was pe with Joe wicks again. Definitely think he was trying to kill us today! My legs are protesting again!
Next I had planned to do a 'school trip' to the (virtual) zoo. Chester zoo had live videos from lots of different animal enclosures, and online there are lots of resources and activities I was planning on doing with Thomas. We were both looking forward to it, but he got very tired and grumpy. Refused to come inside when the video started and then just continued to scream at me. It's such a strange time for everyone, and he has been adapting to it so well, but he is only 5, he's missing all of our family and all of his friends from school. I sent him for a lie down, and when he came back downstairs 20 minutes later, he was in a much better mood. We left the zoo for another day, and instead did a little bit of maths, some spellings and played outside.
Ben got home mid afternoon, uniform straight in the wash, straight in the shower... Then we had a mad hour, with lots of giggling and chasing around and pile ons. Just what we needed!
Me and Chloe had a quick video call with Uncle Marmoo and Grandma this evening. Thomas has started reading David Walliams 'bad dad' and is already up to chapter 7, my little book worm!!
