Happy birthday Mummy!

We hadn’t planned to see Mum on her birthday as we knew we would all be together in a couple of weeks for the Easter hols in Scotland.
But now of course we won’t be able to and I’m so sad.
Living far away from my parents has always been hard; we’re very close and love spending time together. But over the years we have got used to spending longer periods apart, knowing that we will spend holidays and weekends together.
We now don’t know how long it will be before we can see each other and it’s a very strange feeling. Mum was upset about it too and I wish I could’ve given her a big birthday hug. Let’s hope it’s not as long as we fear it may be and, once we finally all get back together again, we will make up for it.
