Day 8 of quarantine, Freesias again
These are freesias I picked from the pots on the balcony. The weather has been unusually foul this week, cool and wet, so they are hanging in there quite well.
Today I made quite good progress with my work, at last.
Had a good long WhatsApp chat with my friend in Australia, and also a Skype chat with our Evia next-door neighbours. They are all fine thank goodness, and the neighbours are going to keep an eye on my garden and pot plants for me. They've offered to water and even strim when it stops raining, which is brilliant, as apparently it's like a jungle.
It was nice to see their faces and the inside of someone else's house, and their new kitten Zoi.
We made a massive pot of couscous, enough for several meals. And then watched a great film: Intolerable Cruelty by the Cohen brothers, with George Clooney and Catherine Zeta Jones. Really quirky and entertaining.
