Another day of pre-booked annual leave on the day the government relaxed the requirement for employees to take the 28 day statutory minimum.

The sun was shining and I spent all day out in the garden - raking and cutting the back lawn (see extra) and weeding and hoeing. Still a lot more to do.

On a positive note:

After a gap of a quarter of a century we now have a regular doorstep milk delivery.

Very much in demand at the moment. It will reduce our reliance on the supermarket chains, it’s good for the local economy - the cows live just up the road - and it will significantly cut down on the amount of plastic we use.
