The Queue

There we were this morning, standing in the queue outside the village Co-op, waiting to get some "free cash" as advertised. 

Don't fall for it - it's all a big con!

The sun has shone all day, lifting everyone's spirits. Neighbour Nancy, when I dropped off the bread and milk she asked me to get, sounded quite upbeat; likewise when I had a chat with friend Liz, walking her dog, and all the other folk I passed on my walk this afternoon - all cheery and accepting of the current situation. It might have been a different kettle of fish on a dreich, rainy day!
