Escape!

We walked to the village allotments and found a friend there.  She was on the phone to her mother in the middle of her allotment facing a cold easterly breeze.  But she had escaped, for a short time at least, small children.  She's a working lady who doesn't normally spend as much time at home and perhaps finds the demands of the small people quite tiring.

We refrained from normal hugs, had a good chat while I took some photos and walked home, glad to have the breeze at our backs.

And the photo is the result of a bit of fiddling in Affinity Photo, the tone map function.  I really like this programme; I had to delete an old Photoshop from my Mac on upgrading to MacOS Catalina so it's pleasing to have a non-Adobe replacement.
