A lovely clear day (with some showers)

Spent this morning in touch with Pastor Christopher of Bugiri, Uganda, discovering what the situation is there. They are going to go into complete lockdown for 21 days. Food prices are doubling and supplies are scarce.

People from our small church have given £180 over the past few days and, already, he has received it and shown me pictures of what he has bought. Maize flour, barrels of hand washing liquid and a large dispenser for his children and the street children he looks after. Their situation puts ours in perspective, and the worst has yet to hit them.

We managed to get out for another walk round the Golf Course. We saw one family, at a distance, so we were quite safe.

We also saw these swans on a course pond. They looked so serene - they obviously don’t know there is a world wide emergency going on. Maybe we could learn from them.
