I had not been feeding the birds for the past year as I found I could not concentrate on my study with them just outside the window. (They didn't starve though, my neighbour has feeders!) Now I have finished studying I have cleaned the feeders and ordered the food. I had some mixed seed and niger seed so put that out - the sunflower hearts, suet pellets and mealworms should arrive on Wednesday or Thursday. So far no-one has spotted the feeders have food in, but they soon will do, I'm sure. The background of blue sky looks good as we move to 'Summer' Time tonight, but the forecast is for colder weather!
