LD 5. At a safe distance.

Our younger son was doing his shopping and called by for a few minutes. Conscious that corona virus should be kept out the house, and us all apart, he had his coffee in the garden, and we sat in the conservatory with the door open. It was strange conversation - but the distancing precautions are necessary, and were maintained. He spent his afternoon painting some of his lounge, his videos showed he’s made a good job of it. Here, I re-read some of a book in advance of starting it’s sequel, and my wife started a jigsaw that a friend had left on the doorstep. I also dug out the pressure washer for the patio....job for next week.

We’d a rural walk late afternoon. Cold wind, a bit of blue sky. It was quiet. We only encountered some dog walkers near home. Everyone seems to get social distancing now.

We’d a nice family FaceTime chat tonight.

Later we watched Rocket Man on Sky Movies. We’d seen it at the Macrobert Arts Centre in May last year.
