From A Distance

Here are our neighbours Andrew and Bev who originally hail from London.  Andrew text to invite us to coffee over the fence at 11.  They are in the back of their property which serves as a very big run for the hens and a place for the beehive.  I should have waited for the hens to make an appearance.  Casper their white German Shepherd dog is sitting nicely.  We sat in our garden and maintained the physical distance.  They had coffee and homemade rock cakes.  The forester had coffee and I had tea.  We had crackers with blue cheese and fresh figs and apple slices.     It was delightful to talk to people face to face.
