This funky little hen is the only one who's able to lay eggs and brood in the middle of winter and will do it again soon after the hatching. You can leave other eggs of other hens with her, she's so light she'll never break them. She's called Nègresoie, nègre from the black colour of her skin and soie (silk) from the softness of her feathers and plume. She's very friendly and was happy to pose for me. She hasn't got any nickname yet. Waiting for blip suggestions!
