Feedlot

We have improvised a feedlot. We will run out of all drinking water for stock very soon. So these goats are getting fed before they head to market. It is hands on work, we fill buckets by hand and then carry the buckets into the pens to feed the goats. But at the same time it feels positive. We have been waiting for rain for so long with no outcome. Feeding the goats is proactive and we can see then getting stronger and healthier every day.

We are isolating at the farm to avoid COVID 19. It doesn’t feel much differently to any other day out here. Except no visits from the neighbours. I even got to go horse riding today. I am off to work tomorrow. I am a nurse and will be working in a walk in health clinic. Feeling a bit nervous.
