Bird Life

This morning I woke up to hear the BBC reporting of the demise of Thrush numbers, this led me to think how sterile our garden is for bird life, that the chance of seeing a bird let alone a thrush would be an event.

How surprised was I when I saw three of these (sorry no pictures of all three, they moved way too quickly) stripping the berries of our hedge. I feel very pleased that we have encouraged the berries, in the hope that it will attract just such creatures!

I have no idea what they are, I am just pleased that there are birds in the garden!
