Pulsatilla

Planted just over a year ago, and coming through nicely this year - though surrounded by weeds as we have found it difficult to be certain which were pulsatilla, and which were stray cut leaved plants from the meadow.  Now they are coming to flower, I'll get my weeding hat on later this week.

We woke to more wind and rain, closely followed by several hail/sleet showers.  With sunny intervals.  But cold!!!  And still windy.  We've not been tempted to leave the comfort of the house.  I've watered some house plants and done some flute playing, W has done some baking.  I think I'll take my sewing into the garden room for the afternoon.
