Waiting for baby, Lockdown day 5

Today we were all expecting the homecoming of Baby Love 2.0. She was waiting audiologist and a full body check in the morning. We all took a hand in scrubbing the house to kill time. Despite mopping yesterday I mopped again and hoovered the stairs. Laura cleaned the kitchen within an inch of its life and Dad set up the Moses basket.

Then we got sad news just after lunch. Mum is fine but Baby Love has a wee infection and needs some extra help for the next 36 hours so she can't come home yet. Kiera took the news very well despite the disappointment, but she is only 3.5 yrs old, so she doesn't really know what it all means.

We're all remaining positive but because of what's going on no one can visit. Kiera can't meet her sister or see her Mum and Ash can't be there to see baby or Jenny. Mum is alone with Bubs. Super hard and we all feel gutted, but we know it's for the best. WhatsApp, phone calls and the internet is helping everyone.

Today's film with Kiera was Peter Pan. She also made and painted her own money box.
