In the frame

This morning this frame lid was derelict, top and bottom rail rotten and the handle had fallen off.

After a search in my store of wood (I knew it would be useful) I found some replacements and after some struggling to remove old and rusty screws the rotten timbers have been replaced and the handle is useable again.

Having been alerted to rotting timbers I checked out the bird table, it too needs some t.l.c. so another job for another day.
