Red Hot Chili Peppers

I didn't have much to blip today. It's been really busy from go to woe. SO... when I was in my favourite restaurant for my favourite meal and these two ladies decided to bring some of the kitchen work out to the front of the restaurant so they could watch TV while working, I couldn't resist. They each brought a pair of scissors and proceeded to cut up (by hand) a huge bag of red hot chili peppers. They were of course happy to pose for a pic..I am their favourite foriegner.

While I was waiting for my meal to arrive, I was reading the little cards I make up that help me remember Chinese characters. One of the waitresses saw what I was doing and pretty soon, they were all gathered around my table checking to see if I knew which character was which and if I knew what they meant.. That is happening a lot to me lately. The people I know from shops and restaurants all wanting to help me to learn Chinese.. I am such a lucky guy to have such wonderful 'friends'.
