Despite last night's last-minute check of our three-week-awaited online shop for unavailables and despite the apparent reappearance in stock of a bunch of stuff we'd already replaced with other things twice, there was a distinct absence of milk, flour, falafels, Alpro puddings and hoops in the multitude of bags containing more than eighty items even when considering a bunch of bananas as a single thing. I therefore went out a wee bit later to a shop with an enormous queue, then slightly further out to a smaller shop with no queue which had plenty of milk. The delivery operative had trundled back past just as I was about to email them with a further couple of bags containing the hoops, but the restrictions meant no printout of the unavailables until I rang them up and had one emailed. Once I get some flour we'll be fine for almost a week at a time apart from milk, but there are at least options for acquiring that without having to go into shops containing other people.
