Ready for Spring

N’s birthday today. L and I made fairy cakes yesterday and she decorated them before she went to bed last night. This morning we had breakfast pudding (cake) after I put a candle in one of them and we sang to N.

We FaceTimed and Skyped with some family today and had another walk in the woods round the corner... nature doesn’t know that life is on hold and in lockdown at the moment and this fern is ready for Spring. Mind you, we had a few short and sharp hail storms while we were out so this fern is right to wait.
