Splish Splash, I Was Taking a Bath

This Spotted Towhee was taking a bath when he was rudely interrupted by a Goldfinch wanting a drink of water. I don't know had the priority in this instance, but they worked it out. The Finch got her drink and left, then the Towhee continued his bath.  I think this is the Towhee that lost its mate when a Cooper Hawk swooped in and took her away. It was a very sad day for us since they have been nesting in the same bush in my neighbors yard for several years. It is a cruel world out there.
I totally forgot to Blip last night....I know I wasn't busy.....I just forgot.....it happened since I am trying to reduce my screen time......I am doing other things away from the computer. So here is my Saturday photo.
