Sea and Estuary

Another sunny day but with a very strong cold wind.  We walked out late morning with our son for a stroll along the coastal footpath.  The farmers were very busy ploughing fields and planting seed.  We stopped to look back towards Budleigh where the River Otter meets the sea.  So strange to see so few people on the beach and only one or two cars parked in the distant carpark.

Its been a week since our son came back home with us and I think its going to be several months before he will want to return to London.  Our daughter ordered a pizza last night before we had a 'house party' chat.  They were pretty hungry when we spoke and still had a long wait afterwards - it took 2hrs 40mins, I don't think they will be doing that again.
