Quick cold walk

It’s been a strange 24 hours
I heard from Dave yesterday- June was clear of COVID and improving and when the carers were back in place she could go home.
This was pencilled in for today (Sunday ) afternoon.
Then someone in her bay tested positive so they are all on 14 day isolation.
She is extremely deaf, very short sighted on top of the dementia issues so basically she’s going to struggle in there with overworked staff and no visitors.
As you can imagine Dave is distraught and I feel helpless because I can’t even go over and talk to him over a cup of tea
