Not just another day

Today is our Daughter Sara's Birthday, the first birthday in 47 years we have not held our girl, this a tough price to pay for this virus, we stood at the bottom of the steps to their front door, we had lots of laughing though, Sara appearing in her pj's, another first, Cobey appearing with his whole head hidden underneath a scarf, another first! 
We left her Birthday gift on the wall to open later, we picked our bag of goodies up from Sara from the bottom of the steps as we arrived, she had made a bag of goodies up for us to take home.
The boys appeared then with news of how the are tackling home schooling, Jacob absolutely loving that, he has had a science exam and a math exam, in between he can play his on line 'games' with his pals.
Koen enjoying being with his girlfriend Gillian for the last weeks, as they had a family visitor from overseas who had to stay at their place in quarantine for two weeks, she didn't want to miss two weeks of school plus two weeks without Koen, bless young love.
Sara had face time with her two brothers and their families, a very strange Birthday, one we all won't be forgetting any time soon.
