through His eyes.

Quarantine Week #2:

It's been getting a bit more challenging.

The husband still goes to work to make the test kits, so it's just been the toddler and me. Our days have been filled with crafts, games, short preschool lessons, and TV. He has surprisingly been enjoying home.

Loneliness has definitely kicked in this week as well. With no adult interactions until the Husband is home, the isolation has been awful.

But I have been challenging myself to think more positively. To find joy in the little things.

That I have a home that I can isolate in.
Food.
That we still have an income.
My toddler loves being home, so not a lot of fuss.
I still have friends I can reach out to virtually.
That we are safe, warm, fed, and loved.

I have been learning what it means to rely and trust God again as well. Through isolation, I found more time to be with Him. That yes, things are out of our control right now, but He is still in control. Many of my friends have been sharing how good it has been to be stuck at home actually, such as more family time, more quiet time, etc. More news of human kindness spreading and fights for justice.

He knows what He is doing.

How are you?

I'm here.

You are not alone.

Let's talk.
