Buffed up.

This is a Rail, a Buff Banded Rail (Gallirallus Philippensis) to be precise who was shaking the water off his feathers until he saw me and did the Usain Bolt. Snapped this afternoon near one of the Nursing Homes visited for BlipBigYear. I think all the easy birds have gone and we are getting down to the harder ones.

It was a busy day driving back from Sydney, nursing home visits and a quick scout of the Australia Day madness that was going on. Knackered and off to bed. Catch up with you soon.
