The North Wind Doth Blow.........

But the wind is coming from the South West and there weren't any barns nearby!!
We had a brief shower of snow earlier this morning and I saw this little fellow - sitting on a notice board, quite unconcerned, with flakes falling on and all around him. The shower was very brief and within a few minutes, there was blue sky and the sun was shining! Lately I have taken to keeping a tin of birdseed and crumbs in the car so he did get a small reward which he flew down to, devoured, then off he flew.


It was a very odd start to the day - early on there was quite a flurry of snow which only lasted a few minutes after which the clouds cleared very quickly and now there are blue skies and brilliant sunshine - temp at +4 deg. Rain is now forecast but no sign here yet.
