Lockdown day 16.
Spain has strengthened the lockdown protocols from today to prevent construction and other "non-essential" workers from continuing. Recently the village has been reverberating from the noise of building and gardening equipment (I assume the non-resident and resident owners had arranged for work to be done while they or their summer lettings were away), but today was blissfully, if eerily, silent. Another dull grey day, as has been the case recently except for a few and far between sunny patches, so not tempted to look for EFBs in the garden. Instead I noticed a new challenge, Hearts for heroes, to honour the essential workers keeping us safe and countries running. Easy peasy - I happen to have this nice tree-of-life burnt-wood heart on the wall near the computer. Only a little tinkering needed as it's beautiful just as it is. Hurrah for those heroes!
