Spring blossoms
I am trying not to read too much about the Coronavirus as it is all so depressing , but I do find myself checking that Covid Visualiser every day to check the numbers. I really have to stop doing this as I realised that the numbers are pretty inaccurate as every country has their own way of collecting data. In the UK I was most concerned that we only have 135 cases recorded of those who have recovered, which is totally inaccurate. Adam was talking to a handful of his friends last night and amongst that small group 3 of them have had it and recovered. There must be many cases in third world countries where people have died and the authorities do not know.
Another walk to the woods with Xena this morning when I stopped to take some photos of these blossom. The walks and the photos are going to be very boring after months of doing the exact same route every day! It will be a challenge to find some different views to photograph.
The police were at the car park of our local woods yesterday telling people in cars that they cannot drive to the woods for their daily exercise/walk but have to walk from home. they have closed off one car park but not the other, which doesn't make sense. By contrast, in South Africa they are NOT allowed to walk anywhere but are told to rather drive (with only one person in the car), to rather contain the virus rather than spread it when out walking. So many conflicting views and opinions, how do we know what is best?
