Rainy Days & Mondays

A cold and rainy day here, but no complaints as it could have been snow! We listened to the daily briefing from our Maine CDC: 3 deaths and 275 confirmed cases as of this morning. No doubt the tip of the iceberg is visible, but the fear is not knowing how big this iceberg actually is or can get. The state’s testing capacity has doubled so that’s encouraging but we’re also receiving our last PPE shipment from the Feds, which is concerning. It’s such a dynamic situation. Soon, I’ll make a faux-beef stew for dinner. Something warm and comforting fits this coronavirus-filled-rainy-Monday. I hope you are cozy where you are. Stay well.
