Half hearted macro shot

Had two options. Go out for a run, or a photo walk. Went running. When I came home we had beautiful purple skies. Found this old rose and snapped a few just for the sake of it. 

Perhaps I can priorities differently tomorrow. 

Been working with video the past few days. Tried out my good old D610 for recording acustic music. Got to say it delivered nicely with 1080/24p. Will use it for a recording (I'll get paid for) in few weeks, as it has a headphone output to monitor sound. It sounded decent paired with my Røde microphone.
